“Only those who dare to fail greatly can ever achieve greatly.” -Robert Kennedy.
Erin Hanson , a 21-year-old poet from Australia, captured the world’s attention with her beautiful words: “There is freedom waiting for you, on the breezes of the sky. And you ask, “What if I fall?” Oh, but my darling, “What if you fly?”
7) ” What if I fall ?” ” Oh but my darling, what if you fly ?” 14) Don’t you understand? You mean more to me than anything in the whole world!
9)“What if I Fall ? Oh, but my darling what if you fly?” I love this quote so much, I have it on a sticky note by my bedside. It isn’t from a classic children’s book but from a poem by a young poet, Erin Hanson.
Erin Hanson , is a 19 year old Australian poet , who wrote those now famous words, as part of a longer poem , when she was just 18. Impressed and intrigued by the fact that the words had been written by such a young mind, I sought out contact with Erin and asked her a few questions.
It Teaches Us What Works and Doesn’t Work Failure can show us what isn’t working in a career or goal and allow us to try to change that and to improve ourselves. It can also show us what does work and what we should keep doing.
Everyone wants to be a success . Success and failure , however, are terms meant to define events, not people. You are either successful at doing something, or achieving some milestone, or you failed at doing something or did not achieve some milestone.
It seems that failure tends to be more public than success . But the simple truth is – no great success was ever achieved without failure . It may be one epic failure . Or a series of failures – such as Edison’s 10,000 attempts to create a light bulb or Dyson’s 5,126 attempts to invent a bagless vacuum cleaner.
We get scared. We fail. We get scared of failing, and we fall down from time to time – this scares us, too. But of this I ‘m sure: we cannot allow the fear of falling to keep us from spreading our wings, getting out of our cushy cozy comfort zone, and allowing ourselves to fly (whatever “ flying ” means to you ).
What Ifs Quotes “I’m always wondering about the what-ifs , about the road not taken.” “You’ll never get anywhere if you go about what-iffing like that.” “You can’t be overwhelmed by the what-ifs , or you’ll miss out on the best part.” “This is our life; there’s no use in asking what if . “And the What Ifs are the worst.”
The sign simply needs to be fixed onto the wall, or suspended from chain that we can supply as optional accessory. Neon signs for permanent external use, and some large internal neon signs , will require specialist installation.
