The name Mufasa is a boy’s name meaning “king”. Known for being the name of Simba’s father in the Lion King.
The Elephant Graveyard is a location seen in The Lion King franchise. It is a barren wasteland filled with the remains of elephants who have died. Shenzi, Banzai, and Ed and their clan used to live there.
Instead, Scar cruelly pierces Mufasa’s paws with his claws. He leans in and mockingly whispers “Long live the King!” before flinging his brother off the cliff. Mufasa falls back into the gorge and is trampled to death by the stampeding wildebeest.
Simba eventually defeats Scar and throws him into a pit, where he is cornered and killed by the hyenas, who overheard Scar blame them for what he’d done.

The death of the king is one of the most iconic moments in all of Disney: after saving son Simba from a stampede of wildebeest, Mufasa is sent falling to his death by scheming brother Scar.
