Pooh is best known for his signature catchphrase, “Oh, bother,” usually spoken after getting himself into some sticky situations. From time to time, though, he and his friends also share unexpected words wisdom. These are my favorite quotes from Winnie the Pooh.
“Sometimes the smallest things take up the most room in your heart.” “If you live to be a hundred, I hope I live to be a hundred minus one day, so that I never have to live a day without you.” “The most important thing is, even when we’re apart, I’ll always be with you.” “How do you spell love?” asked Piglet.

Eeyore has Depression because he is always sad. Owl has Dyslexia and Short Term Memory Loss because he often misspells and misreads words, forgets things after he says them, and has trouble recalling information.
A donkey hailed as being the oldest in the world has died at the age 55. Eeyore , who was named after the gloomy Winnie the Pooh character, outlived other donkeys whose lifespan is usually 25 to 30 years. He passed away at an animal sanctuary in Mottram St Andrew, Cheshire.

Winnie the Pooh is a boy. He is referred to as “he” in AA Milne’s books and in the Disney cartoons his voice has always been provided by a man. But, it turns out that the real-life bear he is named after, was actually a female black bear named Winnie.

In the Disney series he is kind, gentle and ordinarily quite shy, but with Pooh by his side, he often overcomes his fears. His catchphrase is “Oh, d-d-dear!”. Piglet lives in a beech tree that he likes to keep neat and tidy, and can sing very well.

Christopher Milne had named his toy bear after Winnie , a Canadian black bear he often saw at London Zoo, and Pooh , a swan they had encountered while on holiday. He named the bear Winnie after his adopted hometown in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
